 WIVES OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW)


1. Khadija bint Khuwailid(RA) - In Makka prior to hijra the prophets household comprised of him and his wife Khadija(RA).  he was 25 and she was 40 when they got married she was the first woman he married she was the only wife he had until she died he had sons and daughters with her none of their sons lived long.  the daughters were Zainab, umm  kulsum and Fatima.

Zainab(RA) was married to her maternal cousin Abul as bin alrabi (RA) and that was before Al hijra. Ruqaiyah and Umm Kulthum (RA) both married to Usman vin Affan (RA)  successively. ( he married one after the death of her sister). Fatima(RA)  was married to Ali bin Abi Talib(RA) and that was in the period between the battles of badrr and uhud . The sons and  daughters that Fatema and Ali had were Al Hasan, Al Hussain, Zainab and Umm Kulthum (RA). it is well known that the prophet(RA) was exceptionally authorised to have more than four wives  for various reasons. The wives he married were13. 9 of them were alive when he passed away. Two died in his lifetime: Khadija(RA) and mother of the poor(ummul masakeen) -Zainab bint Khuzaimah(RA) besides two others with whom he did not consummate his marriage.


2. Sawdah bint  zamah (RA) - he married har shavval in the 10th year of prophethood ,  a few days after the death of khadija(RA) 's  death she was married to her paternal cousin As sakrant vin amr.


3. Ayesha bint  abubakar(RA) - he married her in the 11th year of prophethood , the year after his marriage to Sauda RA and two years and 5 months before Al hijrah. She was  6 years old when he married her. however he did not consummate  the marriage with her till shavval seven  months after hijra and that was in madina she was 9 then.  she was the only virgin he married. And the most beloved creature to him. as a woman she was the most learned in jurisprudence and knowledgeable.


4. Hafsah bint Umar bin al khattab (RA) - her ex husband khunais bin hudhafah as sahmi (RA) who died in the period between the battles of badr and uhud. allah's  messenger (saw) married her  in the third year of Al hijra. 


5. Zainab binte Khuzaimah (RA)-  she was from Bani hilal bin Amir bin sasa and was nicknamed ummul masakeen because of her  kindness and care towards them. She  used to be the wife of Abdullah bin Jayesh RA who was martyred she was married to the prophet(saw) in the fourth year of Al hijra.  she died two or three months , 8 months according to another version after her marriage to Allah messenger(saw). 


6. Umme Salamah  Hind bin abi umaiya(RA)-  she used to be the wife of Abu salama RA  who died in jamada akhir in the 4th year of Al hijra . Allah messenger married her in shawwall of the same year. 


7. Zainab binte jahsh bin Riyab(RA)-  she was from Bani Asad bin Khuzaimah and was the Messenger paternal cousin she was married to Zaid bin haris RA who was then considered as the son of prophet(saw)  however he divorced  her. Allah sent down down some quranic verses with this respect:"so when Zaid had accomplished his desire from her( divorce her ) We gave her to you in marriage".(33:37).  about her Allah has sent down some verses  that discuss the adoption of children in detail. Allah messenger (saw) married her dhul qadah the fifth year of al Hijra. 


8. Juveria binte Al Haris(RA) - Al Haris was the head of bani Al mustaliq of khuzaah. Juweriya (RA) was among the booty that fell of to the Muslims from Buni al mustaliq. she was in the portion of sabit bin qais bin shams RA.  he wrote her an agreement conducive to her  freedom.  Allah messenger (saw) full filled that agreement on her behalf and married her in shaban in the 6 year of al hijra.


9. Umme habiba Ramlah bint Abu sufiyan(RA)-  she was married to ubaidullah  bin Jahesh she migrated with him to Abyssinia(Ethiopia) . When obaidullah apostatized and became a Christian she stood fast to her religion and refused to convert however obaidullah died in Ethiopia.  Allah's messenger (saw) dispatched Amar bin omaya dumri RA with a letter to the negro the king asking him for umm habiba 's hand that was in Muharram in the 7th year of hijra the negro  agreed  and send her to the prophet (saw) in the company of shuruhbil bin Hasanah RA.


10. Safiyah  binte huyai bin Aftab {RA} -she was from the children of Israel and among the booty  taken at the battle khaibar.  Allah's messenger(saw) took her for himself he set her free and married her after the conquest in the 7th year of al hijra.


11. Maimunah bint Al Harith(RA) - She was the sister of ummul fadl lubabah bint Al Harith RA. prophet (saw) married in dhul qadah  in the 7th year of hijra after the compensatory umrah  after coming out of the sacred state according to an authentication. 


The two wives that he did not consummate  his marriage with one from Bani kilab  and other from kinda and this was the one called al jauniyah.

 SHEIKH MUJADDID ALF E SANI (R.AH.) Sheikh Ahmad Sirhindi (Mujaddid Alf e Sani) was born in 1564. His lineage goes back to Hazrat Omar(RA). He received his early education from his father Sheikh Abdul Ahad. Then he went to Silakot for further studies, Silakot was the centre of knowledge of that time.  Mosque of Curataba (Spain)  Its size is 668 x 440 feet, which means it is the largest mosque in the world for that place. Rs 10 lakh was spent on the construction of Jama Masjid, Delhi, but Rs 1.5 crore was spent on this mosque.Blessedly, this mosque is one of the unique in the world. It was built by Sultan Abdul Rahman Al Dakhil on the model of Jama Masjid in Damascus, after which his people found it and reached Takmil.  The grandeur of this mosque can be gauged from the fact that its minbar was made of pure ivory and was studded with many jewels. It was sold for 35,000 dinars per coin, which means in current times its price was around 35 lakh dinars.  KHUTBA  E HAJJATUL VIDA PROPHET MOHAMMAD(SAW) SAID: 1-"Behold! All practices of paganism and ignorance are under my feet.
