 Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali 

Maulana was a resident of Panipat, Punjab, year of birth is 1837. Maulana Hali was one of the followers of Sir Syed and his mother-in-law helped him in every educational campaign. He worked hard for many years and wrote his life in the name of Sir Syed.Whose name is Hayat e javed, his big achievement is Muqada Sher-o-Shayari, which is the first book of criticism in Urdu. The influence of Sir Syed is clearly visible on it. Maulana, like Sir Syed, strongly advocated Islamic and objective adab and poetry in Urdu. Gave custom to the sotan which jhanjhor and qaumon. In the process of serving him, Maulana found the book of Shamshullema. On the request of Sir Syed, Maulana wrote a Musaddas which Sir Syed used to consider as his Tosha in the hereafter but used to say that maybe Allah Ta'ala will forgive me so that I Maulana wrote this Morka Najam from Hali.In connection with the meeting, there was a meeting in Lahore that Maulana Mohammad Hussain Azad laid the foundation of such poetry in which poems were presented in praise of Jai. Maulana Hali gave full tawwun in this regard. This campaign was started by praising the courage of Sir Syed Muslim Educational Conference. Maulana Hali in the processions of He used to participate regularly and made it successful with his poetry. Maulana died in Panipat on 13 December 1914 and was buried in the same mosque.
