 *Hazrat Isa (Peace be upon him) – Part 3*

And those people have set up the jinn as partners with Allah, though He is the One who created them. And in ignorance they have invented for Him sons and daughters. He is free from what they attribute to Him, and His glory is far above that. He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have a child when He has no consort? And He created everything, and He is aware of everything. Allah, who possesses these attributes, is your Lord. There is no god except Him. He is the Creator of everything, so worship Him alone, and He is the Guardian over all things. He is such that eyes cannot grasp Him, but He grasps all eyes. And He is the Knower of secrets, the All-Aware.

O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes in your religion, and do not say about Allah anything but the truth. The Messiah, meaning the son of Maryam, was neither Allah nor the son of Allah. He was a messenger of Allah and His Word of glad tidings which He conveyed to Maryam, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and do not say, “God is three.” Desist from this belief — it is better for you. Allah is only One God. He is free from having offspring. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah is sufficient as a Guardian. The Messiah does not disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor do the angels who are near to Him. Whoever considers it shameful to be His servant and acts arrogantly — Allah will gather them all to Himself. Then those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them their full reward and grant them more out of His bounty. But those who disdained and were arrogant and denied being His servant — He will punish them with a painful torment, and they will not find for themselves any protector or helper besides Allah.

And the Jews say, “Uzair is the son of Allah,” and the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” These are statements from their mouths. The disbelievers before them also used to say such things. They are merely imitating them. Allah destroys them — how deluded they are!

And they have assigned to Allah daughters from among the angels, although they too are servants of Allah. Were they present at their creation? Soon their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned. Ask them: “Are daughters for your Lord and sons for you? Did We create the angels as females while they were witnessing?” See, they speak fabricated words, saying Allah has offspring. No doubt, they are liars. Has He preferred daughters over sons? What kind of people are you? What kind of judgment do you make? Why do you not reflect? Or do you have a clear proof? If you are truthful, then present your book. And they have established a lineage between Allah and the jinn, although the jinn know that they will be brought before Allah. Allah is free from what they describe — except for the sincere servants of Allah, who will not face punishment.

And they say, “Allah has taken a son.” He is free from that. He has neither son nor daughter. Rather, those whom these people consider His sons and daughters are His honored servants. They cannot speak before Him, and they act only by His command. He knows what has gone before them and what will come after them, and they cannot intercede except for one with whom Allah is pleased, and they remain in awe of Him out of fear. And whoever among them says, “I am a god besides Allah” — We will recompense him with Hell. Thus We recompense the wrongdoers.

All praise is for Allah, who has sent down upon His servant Muhammad the Book and has not placed therein any crookedness, but has made it straight, to warn of a severe punishment from Him and to give glad tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that for them is a good reward — Paradise — in which they will abide forever. And to warn those who say, “Allah has taken a son.” They have no knowledge of this, nor did their forefathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths. What they say is nothing but a lie.

They say, “Allah has taken a son.” His Being is free from offspring, and He is Self-Sufficient. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. O you fabricators! You have no proof for this false statement, so why do you invent about Allah that which you do not know? Say: “Those who fabricate lies against Allah will not succeed.” The benefit for them is in this world, then to Us they must return. At that time We will make them taste the severe punishment because they used to utter words of disbelief.
